Hi from Wendy Provis

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

It seems impossible that 20 years have passed! I am sure most of you will have no idea who I am but here is my update anyway LOL

After graduation my husband (now ex) and I moved to Spain for 4 years. It was an eye opener and really is something I will never forget. Unfortunantly not long after returning we split up. I don’t regret anything, we were just too young and it was bound to happen.

In 1995 i met my current husband and we have been married for almost 10 years and we have 2 sons ages 6 and 8. We are living in Oregon City and for the most part life is great! I have been a stay at home mom for the past 7 years but recently started working part time while my sons are in school. If you would have told me 20 years ago I would enjoy being a mom so much I wouldn’t have believed it, but its true! Even my friends and family cannot believe it sometimes.

I have been clean and sober for over 14 years and that is probably my biggest accomplisment! I look back on the wild child i was 20 years ago and am so thankful I am no longer that person! Don’t get me wrong I am still nuts but that will never change!

I hope that we have a big turn out for the reunion and am looking forward to catching up with some of you. And getting to know those that i never had a chance to get to know back in highschool!

I am technologically challenged and can’t figure out how to put pictures on here but i do have a myspace page (a lame one at that) Not much there but pictures and one video on it but for me thats about my technical limit!

Ok i think this will work, here is my MYSPACE page

Kevin, Mom, and Patrick

Here I am between my two favorite bookends, my sons Patrick (10) and Kevin (5). Since the ten year reunion, I quit my job as an Occupational Therapist and came home to be a Mom. My husband of 15 years (!), Scott, works for Pacificorp managing their database of where the power poles are and what’s on them. We also have two big dogs, Trout and Zero, and one old fat cat, Maverick. And we all live together just north of Mt Tabor, one block into NE Portland. Besides using my Master’s Degree to hone my dishwashing and amateur plumbing skills, I recently joined Aurora Chorus, a women’s singing group here in Portland.

Hope all is well with all of you.

Take care,
Karen (Henry) Benjamin

Hello High School Friends,

I am really looking forward to our high school reunion! The 10th was a blast and I’ve heard that the 20th is even better! My, how time flies!

Where to begin…I married my husband, Warren, 14 years ago in Mt. Angel, Oregon. We had our first son, Joshua, in 1995 (he’s 11 and off to middle school next fall) and then our beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Grace, in 1998 (she’s currently 8 and in the 3rd grade). We have lived in Sherwood for 11 years. I stayed home with my kids for 8 years and then went back to work part-time as a geriatric social worker at Maryville Nursing home. I decided after a lot of thought, that I was really meant to be a teacher!! I needed some “happy work!” 2 years ago, I went back to school and got my Master’s in Teaching at George Fox University! It was a long haul, but worth every minute! Now, I am very lucky to be teaching at a wonderful school in Sherwood, where both of my kids go to school (Archer Glen Elementary). I teach 4th grade and LOVE it!

My family and I spend a lot of time in the mountains, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, etc. We have two huge and beautiful dogs, Sitka and Kenai.

I can’t wait to reconnect with ya’ll and find out what you have been up to for the past 10-20 years! :)  I have many high school friends that I adore and see on a regular basis: Kim and Scott Thompson, Michele Jakubauskas (Hurt), Mike and Lynne Delacruz, Todd Honma, Kirk Helzer ( who was roommates with my husband in college), to name a few. We sure have a great class of friends!

I’d love to hear from you…by email you can reach me at kricketannie27@msn.com. See you in August!
